Quality Assurance & Control (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management or equivalent
Minimum 5 years experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in the manufacturing industries.
Ensure that products or services meet consistent standards and satisfy both regulatory requirements and customer expectations. This involves overseeing the quality assurance processes, leading the quality team, and implementing quality management systems within the organization.
Manage IQC/SQE/QE/QC
Ability to analyze data and create and review processes.
A desire to help others achieve their best.
Willingness to assist other departments to develop solutions and metrics.
Mandarin speaking will be an added advantage, which will facilitate communication with China HQ colleagues, and suppliers or customers from China.
Skill Qualification Certificate:
Certified QM, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, CQE, or equivalent certifications.
Job Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
Participate in leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing QA team.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Foster a collaborative and innovative environment.
Quality Assurance Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive quality strategy aligned with the organization's goals.
Create Quality Objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor performance.
Ensure alignment of QA processes with the organization's goals.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality.
Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices.
Automate processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Project Management:
Allocate resources effectively to ensure project success.
Coordinate development and product teams to ensure on-time delivery.
Participate in the APQP process of new projects and ensure the smooth mass production of projects.
Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate quality-related risks and approve the release of products based on risk assessment.
Participate in implementing and approving corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address quality issues.
Stakeholder Communications:
Communicate QA results and progress to stakeholders and management.
Address quality-related issues and provide actionable recommendations.
Collaborate with other departments to align on quality objectives.
Compliance and Auditing:
Participate in internal and external audits and ensure audit findings are closed in time.
Ensure all quality processes and documentation meet compliance standards.
Customer Focus:
Address customer complaints and work on root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
Implement customer feedback into quality improvement plans.
Participate in monthly operation meetings and quarterly business review meetings with customers.
Review and approve customer 8D reports.
Supplier Quality Management:
Review supplier evaluation and selection and submit to manager for approval.
Review supplier KPI performance and monitoring.
Review supplier yearly audit plans and audit reports.
Review Incoming Quality Inspection reports before submission to customers.
Participate in MRB review and approve disposition.
IQC Equipment and Calibration Management:
Review IQC equipment plans and reports.
Review and approve equipment purchases and calibration.
Track and review calibration results.
