Testing & Quality Assurance (Information & Communication Technology)
Develop, execute, and document test cases to ensure software solutions meet banking industry standards.
Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
Validate that applications comply with regulatory and security requirements specific to the banking sector.
Design and implement QA processes aligned with banking compliance and IT service standards.
Review and maintain quality documentation and testing methodologies.
Identify, log, and prioritize software defects in coordination with development teams.
Conduct root cause analysis and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
Retest fixes to ensure functionality and compliance.
Verify that IT solutions meet financial regulatory standards (e.g., AML, KYC).
Conduct penetration testing or collaborate with security teams to ensure systems are secure.
Ensure encryption, data privacy, and secure transaction protocols are functioning effectively.
Collaborate with banking clients to understand their requirements and expectations.
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in partnership with client teams.
Monitor QA metrics, analyze results, and propose improvements for IT service quality.
Work closely with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality across the software development lifecycle.
Report QA findings to internal and external stakeholders with detailed documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Certifications (if any):ISTQB Certified Tester
Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher)
ISO 9001: Quality Management Systems
Agile or Scrum certificationMinimum 2–5 years of experience in software testing or QA, preferably within the banking or financial services domain.
Hands-on experience in end-to-end testing processes, including functional, regression, and UAT.
Basic scripting in Python, Java, or C#.
Familiarity with SQL for querying and validating data integrity.
Understanding of financial compliance standards (e.g., AML, KYC).
Strong written and verbal communication to interact with stakeholders and document findings.#J-18808-Ljbffr
