Quality Control

The Inspector – Quality Control reports directly to the Manager – Quality Control.
Responsible for ensuring all quality inspections & tests are carried out in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS) Procedures, Applicable Codes, Standards and Specifications.
Ensure that the departmental quality objectives and project requirements are met.
Ensure compliance and execution of both ASME Manual and QMS at workshop and site.
Ensure inspection and test related work are executed as per the Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) and project's approved procedures.
Ensure all sub-contracted works are carried out in accordance with the applicable project requirements and proper implementation.
Carry out all quality related inspections and tests in accordance with the ITP and Project Specific Procedures.
Monitor and carry out product verification, ensuring compliance to project's specific requirements and tests.
Perform timely inspection of Inspection Points identified on the Traveller's Check List for shop constructions and field assemblies in accordance with SDJ ASME QC Manual.
Prepare all relevant inspection reports for all stages of inspections.
Monitor welding parameters and welder's performance.
Coordinate, monitor and verify quality on NDE, Painting, Galvanizing and other similar sub-contracted works.
Ensure timely execution of NDE by sub-vendor to ensure timely readiness of product.
Liaise with customer, end user, 3rd Party and other external inspection authorities on inspection and test activities.
Carry out final inspection and product release certificates.
Raise NCR on detection of an item not conforming to the relevant Codes, Standards and Specifications requirements.#J-18808-Ljbffr
