Quality Control Inspector - Furniture IndustryWe are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Quality Control (QC) Inspector to join our team.
The QC Inspector is responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying the quality of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure they meet established standards and specifications.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate materials, products, and processes, identifying defects and ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and design specifications.
Conduct inspections on raw materials, in-progress, and finished furniture to ensure they meet quality standards.
Maintain detailed records of inspections, including test results, measurements, and any defects found.
Prepare quality control reports to communicate findings to relevant departments and management.
Work closely with the technical team to understand the specifications and functional requirements of the furniture pieces.
Verify that furniture is packaged correctly to avoid any damage during shipping, ensuring that all necessary documentation accompanies each order.
Understand different types of materials such as wood, metal, glass, mirrors, stone, etc.
Hands-on experience with quality inspection tools, measurements, and tests.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and product specifications.
Any ad hoc task allocated by superior.
Job Requirements:
Experience in a quality control or inspection role within thefurniture manufacturing & interior design industry.
Preference for candidates with furniture inspection experience.
Available to start work immediately is an advantage.
