Job Responsibilities: To create complete CMM programmes (which includes but not limited to clamping system) accurately within required timeline and ensuring adherence to product specification.To estimate programming time, setup time and processing/ cycle time for CMM inspectionTo ensure CMM program flowed down to end users efficiently.To ensure CMM programmes are recorded in accordance to master checklist.To ensure all TPM activities are performed for CMM and other related QC equipment as needed.To ensure the cleanliness of the inspection area and to well maintain the inspection area as per required specifications. To perform CMM correlation inspection between all CMMs as per schedule provided by QC Engineers.To ensure all gages (CMM and conventional) are well maintained and within calibration.To perform 3D model verification for customer provided and internally developed 3D models, including 3D models developed by suppliers to ensure compliance towards customer engineering requirements.To perform inspection (supplier inspection report and on physical fixture) on supplier fabricated fixtures and to ensure compliance to relevant requirements.To perform test cut inspection when needed and feedback the result to NC Programmers.To involve in internal, customer and certification body audits.To carry out inspection activities according to the drawing, customer specification, condition of supply and customer requirements by using appropriate IMTE for Production/FA/DELTA FA parts which includes but not limited to Dimensional QC, Assembly QC and Final QC.To report to Quality Engineer or Head of Quality on all inspection's issue.To generate inspection reports appropriately and in a timely manner.To maintain all IMTE in good and proper condition after usage (clean after use and oil.)To perform MSA, GR&R, SPC and CMM Correlation activities when required.To involve in QAP certification activities which includes but not limited to trainings of new QAP, qualification assessment and others when deemed necessary.To ensure all record retentions activities are carried out efficiently and to be able to provide necessary records when needed.To actively involve in all Kaizen activities within the department and the company.To ensure inventories of WIP parts are kept in minimum volume and to closely monitor the ageing of WIPs.To ensure that the Group's Quality Systems and Procedures are adhered at all times.To live the UPECA Ways/Values in rendering services ensuring a high quality output.To perform all other works as and when assigned by Quality Engineer or Head of QualityTo receive and act on any other instruction from the Quality Engineer, Manager or any other person so delegated by him. What to expect: To carry out Quality inspection process development in FA / NPI activities.To support quality related improvement activities within UPECA.To carry out inspection activities assigned according to customer requirements, work instructions and specifications.To ensure parts are accepted to customer requirements prior to delivery. Experience and Personality Preference: At least 1 year experience in CMM (coordinate measurement machine) and minimum 2 years working in a Quality Inspection function or 5 years in a relevant manufacturing environment. Able to handle basic inspection equipment and tools. Skills, Knowledge Requirements: Good documentation skills with fair knowledge in Microsoft Office applications.Capability to propose proper measurement tools for inspection process.Engineering process related trouble-shooting skills.Good proficiency in CMM, with some experience in CAD.Hands on CMM machining experience. Basic machining application knowledge and technical experience.PC literate. Able to work independently as well as being a team-player with strong commitment to department harmony.Must be able to work under pressure and meet the demands of the job. Education: Diploma (or higher) in Engineering or in a related field
