Our client is an Electronics MNC company based inSimpang Ampat .
They provide Contract Manufacturing Services and specialize in electronics manufacturing for high-reliability markets in Aerospace, Medical, Industrial, Semiconductor, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Initial Production Inspection : Perform a thorough inspection of the first production unit to ensure it meets quality specifications before mass production begins.
Ongoing Random Checks : Conduct random quality inspections during different stages of production to quickly identify and resolve any quality issues.
AOI Process Oversight : Manage the Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) process to detect defects such as soldering errors, component misalignments, and other discrepancies in products.
THT Final Inspection : Oversee the final inspection of Through-Hole Technology (THT) products, ensuring the detection of any defects such as poor soldering or component misplacement.
Defect Trend Analysis : Analyze inspection results to track defect patterns and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
Non-Conformance Management : Identify and document non-conformities, implement corrective actions, and track progress to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
Quality Documentation : Maintain detailed records of inspections, defects, and quality performance metrics to support continuous quality tracking and improvements.
Customer Issue Resolution : Address customer complaints related to product quality, working to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Inspection Equipment Calibration : Ensure all inspection equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and functioning for accurate results.
Production Process Audits : Perform regular audits on production processes to ensure they meet quality standards and to identify areas for potential improvements.
Staff Training : Conduct training sessions to educate production teams on quality control standards, inspection procedures, and best practices.
Continuous Quality Improvement : Actively participate in initiatives aimed at improving product quality, production efficiency, and overall manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field (preferably Electronics or Electrical Engineering).
Proven experience in quality control or assurance within a manufacturing environment.
In-depth understanding of quality control practices and principles.
Skilled in using various inspection tools and equipment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards.
Experience with AOI and THT inspection processes.
Lean Six Sigma certification (Yellow Belt or higher).
Proficient in data analysis using the 7 Basic Tools of Quality Control.
