Job DescriptionGet to Know the Team
The Platform Safety and Quality team is responsible for all safety and quality-related aspects of the platform and directly supports all of Grab's business verticals and teams across the region. This team drives initiatives to improve User Safety and Quality (consumers, driver-partners, merchants) in areas such as accidents, harm, food safety and hygiene management, and crime by influencing tech solutions, local policies, frameworks, communications, training, and refining internal processes.
Get to Know the Role
You will report to Manager, Regional Platform Safety & Quality. This is a regional role where you will work with cross-functional teams and country teams to accomplish projects aimed at maintaining high standards of safety and quality for Grab users. You will collect data, identify gaps, and propose solutions to improve the efficiency and efficacy of operations. You will also enhance automation tools to manage safety and quality standards across Grab's business.
This role will be onsite and based in Malaysia.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
Analyze rich user behavioral data to identify patterns and insights that inform Grab's safety and quality frameworks and contribute to prevention mechanisms.
Communicate insights and recommended actions to stakeholders to manage risk through effective data visualizations.
Develop and improve frameworks and their associated data pipelines, policies, and processes on user safety and quality.
Operationalize strategic processes/changes and leverage tools to automate manual operations.
Drive standardization and documentation of processes, ensuring changes are communicated effectively to all stakeholders.
Work cross-functionally with country and regional stakeholders to gather input and execute new policies and processes.
QualificationsWhat Essential Skills You Will Need
At least a quantitative Bachelor's Degree in fields such as Computer Engineering, Business Analysis, or related fields.
At least 2 years of professional working experience as a hands-on analyst in a high-tech company.
Experience in handling large-scale unstructured data. Proficiency in SQL or other data handling tools.
Business intelligence experience using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Google Sheets.
Working experience with automation tools such as Slide and Airflow.
