This position is based out of our Tanjong Langsat Plant, Pasir Gudang.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Inspect at every stage of manufacturing for compliance with NOV / customer specification.
The authority to accept, reject, and to place on hold any item or operation where conformance to drawing, specification, contract and/or purchase order is not in compliance with NOV / customer specifications.
Assure that he/ she is present when inspections are required. This includes in-house area as well as vendor facilities.
Perform In-process inspection of all manufacturing, assembly, packing, testing and dispatching operations in the plant.
Create, review and document all the material certificates, mill certificates, production report, test report as deemed necessary.
Verification of operations set up and/or fit up.
Advisement, coordination, and interaction with all departments to accomplish all objectives.
Familiar with calibration and calibration records of tools and equipment.
Support all company rules and policies.
Must follow and enforce all safety and environmental policies and programs; must be able to use personal safety devices as required by company policy; report any activities that could be detrimental to the safety and/or the loss of productivity; report any injuries when they occur.
JOB REQUIREMENT
Minimum SPM Qualification or Technical / Vocational Diploma / Certificate or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year experience within the similar function.
Good verbal and written communication skills must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Advantage if Microsoft Office knowledge.
Good interpersonal working skills.
Advantage if API & ISO standards pertaining to quality would be added advantage.
Knowledge and experience of ISO9001 Quality Management System, ISO14001, Environmental Management System.
Candidate should be able to work in night shifts.
TRAINING
To actively participate in the training of personnel, recommend training needs to the Competence/Training/HSE Manager and to evaluate the effectiveness of all completed training.
SAFETY
To ensure that all accidents/incidents are reported in a timely manner to the Safety Department and Line Management.#J-18808-Ljbffr
