Quality Inspector

Responsibilities
Read and familiarize project AFC drawings, Painting Matrix, specifications, procedures, ITP, shop drawings and applicable international codes and standards, such as ASTM D3276, SSPC, and CINI;
Develop QC Inspection package for the area/scope of works and get immediate supervisor approval.
Perform/witness quality inspection, testing and surveillance (blasting, painting, coating and insulation) as per the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) as directed by immediate supervisor;
Participate in relevant project meetings as and when requested by the supervisor/superior.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Diploma or Vocational Certificate in relevant disciplines.
Possess NACE Paint Inspection; IMM Level 2; and ICOR Level 2.
Minimum 2 to 8 years of working experience in oil and gas.
Familiarity with Inspection and Testing techniques.
Knowledge of Painting/Coating/Insulation requirements.
Familiarity with PETRONAS Technical Standards (PTS).
Knowledge of Codes and Specifications: ASTM D3276, SSPC, CINI.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.#J-18808-Ljbffr
