Position
The Quality Manager is responsible for maintaining and improving the organization's quality management system (QMS) and environmental health and safety (EHS) systems. This role ensures all products and processes meet the highest quality standards, resolves customer complaints, and drives a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. The Quality Manager is also part of the global QMS system.
Responsibilities
Develop & Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
Maintain and enhance Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards.
Oversee and manage all quality-related issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Respond to and resolve customer complaints, ensuring effective communication and follow-up.
Prepare and present monthly quality performance reports to General Manager.
Manage inspection, measuring, and testing equipment (IMTE) to ensure calibration and effectiveness.
Oversee the Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) to enhance operational performance.
Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Collaborate with suppliers and conduct supplier quality audits to ensure conformance to requirements.
Provide training and development programs on quality processes and standards for employees.
Identify and mitigate risks related to product quality or process deficiencies.
Lead external & internal audits.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related field), Master's degree is a plus.
5+ years of experience in quality related field, with at least 3 years in a managerial role preferred.
Strong knowledge of quality management practices and systems, including ISO 9001/14001.
Experience in leadership with proven ability to manage and develop teams.
Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or higher preferred).
Excellent English skills (speaking, listening, and writing) for reporting and presentations.
Proficiency with MS Office and experience in SAP or similar ERP systems.
Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills with a sense of urgency.
Familiarity with advanced quality tools like FMEA.
Certifications such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or equivalent preferred.
