Responsibilities:Subcon product quality management and audit: Review monthly quality reports from subcon, set quality targets, and drive improvement actions to achieve targets. Perform periodic audits of subcon's processes and quality systems.
Subcon FAR management: Collaborate with subcon on root cause and corrective action investigations for customer complaints. Verify the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions. Track and ensure subcon responds to 3D and 8D within required timelines.
Subcon development: Assess product quality and service performance of subcon using monthly scorecards. Drive and develop subcon quality through improvement programs.
New process qualification and product transfer management: Coordinate new process/product qualification activities and provide status updates. Work with subcon on failures found during qualification and improvement/corrective actions. Conduct process audits to release the line for mass production.
Engineering Change Notification and Special Clearance management: Review Product/Process Change and Special Clearance requests with subcon and OS stakeholders to propose qualification plans for changes. Review qualification reports to ensure results and format meet OS requirements. Submit Product/Process Change and Special Clearance for approval.
Subcon RMA: Request RMA numbers from subcon for customer returns. Perform disposition on RMA within required timelines.
Customer Audit: Prepare subcon for any customer audits and represent OS during these audits.
Reliability Monitoring and PPAP: Request subcons to conduct annual reliability monitoring, review data, and publish results on the OS System. Request PPAP documents and Cpk data from subcon and update them into the OS System.
Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in a technical field (e.g., physics, electrical engineering, material science, or similar).
Minimum 5 years of working experience in Quality/Engineering or Subcon/Supplier Management.
Technical proficiency in Backend Semiconductor manufacturing (added advantage).
Experience in Supplier/Subcon audits. Certified VDA auditors (added advantage).
Automotive background with good knowledge of automotive core tools (8D, FMEA, 5WHY, VDA6.3, IATF 16949, etc.); strong technical problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with statistical analysis software like JMP and Minitab.
High flexibility and ability to travel to subcon sites locally and internationally (including ad hoc visits).
Very good communication skills and professional appearance in front of subcon, suppliers, or customers (required: English; beneficial: Chinese).#J-18808-Ljbffr
