Job Responsibilities: To assist the Contracts Manager to carry out pre-contract and post-contract activities. Familiar with tender exercise in main Contractor's environment, handles tender & contract submission. To liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as Site Managers, Project Managers, Site Engineers, Suppliers and Sub-contractors to complete the whole process of tendering and contracts. To handle pre-contract administrative works - preparation and compilation of tender documents for submission. To forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project. To track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly. To manage Project procurement, progress, budgeting and costings. To produce or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project measure and value the work done on site. To select and/or source construction materials and arrange deliveries to relevant locations. To prepare Progress Claims, Certified Payment and Invoicing. To undertake other duties and responsibilities as instructed by Management. Requirements: Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building Construction or any equivalent. Preferably with more than 3 year(s) of experience in a construction or related field. Preferably those with experience in pre-qualification exercise, tender bids and preparing quotations. Has basic knowledge in contractual matters. Good written & verbal communication skills and computer literate. Positive working attitude and self-motivated. Detail oriented and prompt in documentation work. Must be a team-player and has a positive attitude in facing challenges. Able to interact with people of all levels and teamwork. Applicants ideally able to converse in verbal and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
