Job Responsibilities: To assist the Contracts Manager to carry out pre-contract and post-contract activities.Familiar with tender exercise in main Contractor's environment, handles tender & contract submission.To liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as Site Managers, Project Managers, Site Engineers, Suppliers and Sub-contractors to complete the whole process of tendering and contracts.To handle pre-contract administrative works - preparation and compilation of tender documents for submission.To forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project.To track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly.To manage Project procurement, progress, budgeting and costings.To produce or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project measure and value the work done on site.To select and/or source construction materials and arrange deliveries to relevant locations.To prepare Progress Claims, Certified Payment and Invoicing.To undertake other duties and responsibilities as instructed by Management.Requirements: Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building Construction or any equivalent.Preferably with more than 3 year(s) of experience in a construction or related field.Preferably those with experience in pre-qualification exercise, tender bids and preparing quotations.Has basic knowledge in contractual matters.Good written & verbal communication skills and computer literate.Positive working attitude and self-motivated.Detail oriented and prompt in documentation work.Must be a team-player and has a positive attitude in facing challenges.Able to interact with people of all levels and teamwork.Applicants ideally able to converse in verbal and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
