JobResponsibilities: To assist the Contracts Manager to carry outpre-contract and post-contract activities.Familiar with tender exercise in main Contractor'senvironment, handles tender & contractsubmission. To liaise with the client andother construction professionals, such as Site Managers, ProjectManagers, Site Engineers, Suppliers and Sub-contractors to completethe whole process of tendering and contracts.To handle pre-contract administrative works - preparationand compilation of tender documents for submission.To forecast the cost of the different materials neededfor the project. To track changes to thedesign and/or construction work and adjust budget projectionsaccordingly. To manage Project procurement,progress, budgeting and costings. To produceor agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who workon the construction of the project measure and value the work doneon site. To select and/or source constructionmaterials and arrange deliveries to relevant locations.To prepare Progress Claims, Certified Payment andInvoicing. To undertake other duties andresponsibilities as instructed by Management. Requirements: Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, CivilEngineering, Building Construction or any equivalent.Preferably with more than 3 year(s) of experience in aconstruction or related field. Preferablythose with experience in pre-qualification exercise, tender bidsand preparing quotations. Has basic knowledgein contractual matters. Good written &verbal communication skills and computer literate.Positive working attitude and self-motivated.Detail oriented and prompt in documentationwork. Must be a team-player and has a positiveattitude in facing challenges. Able tointeract with people of all levels and teamwork.Applicants ideally able to converse in verbal and writtenEnglish and Bahasa Malaysia.
