Join Siacon Technology Sdn Bhd as a Quantity Surveyor and play a vital role in the Construction industry. In this full-time position based in Johor, you will be responsible for managing contracts and ensuring cost-effective delivery of construction projects.
What you'll be doing
Prepare and manage construction tenders, contracts and budgets
Analyse and interpret construction drawings, specifications and contract documents
Measure and value construction works, including variations and claims
Provide commercial and contractual advice to project teams
Manage cost control and forecasting for construction projects
Liaise with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to resolve commercial issues
Support the procurement of materials and subcontractor services
Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures
What we're looking for
Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
At least 5 years of relevant experience in the Construction industry
Strong understanding of construction contracts, tenders and cost management
Proficient in using quantity surveying software and MS Office applications
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and under tight deadlines
Familiarity with construction regulations and industry best practices
