Quantity Surveyor

Details of the offer

Your primary responsibility will be to assess project requirements, prepare quantity takeoffs, and estimate the costs of materials, labor, and equipment needed for each project.


-Conduct thorough analysis of project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to understand the scope of work and project requirements.


-Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment required for interior design projects.


-Prepare quotation to customer.


-Collaborate with the design team to identify and evaluate cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.


-Research and source materials, equipment, and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure compliance with project specifications.


-Review and analyze supplier/subcontractor quotations, negotiate pricing, and make recommendations to the project team.


-Create and maintain accurate project budgets, monitoring costs throughout the project lifecycle, and providing regular cost reports to stakeholders.


-Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.


-Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, validate quantities, and address any cost-related issues.


-Collaborate with project managers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.


-Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quantity surveying and interior design.

; Requirements:- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field.


-Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the interior design or renovation industry.


-Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, cost estimation, and project management.


-Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.


-Strong communication and negotiation skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.


-Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.


-Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.


-Professional certification or membership in a recognized quantity surveying association is a plus.
