Quantity Surveyor

Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in quantity surveying, construction engineering, or related field
3-5 years of general construction estimating experience, financial experience, construction experience, or related field
Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office
ResponsibilitiesProjecting cost estimates on various materials needed for a project.
Preparing contract documents and tenders, progress claims and payment certificates, invoices, final valuations for client approval, and other documentation.
Hiring or procuring subcontractors based on the presented budget to the client.
Liaising with site managers, site engineers, and other necessary personnel to ensure the project follows the timeline.
Having site work experience and the ability to work independently.
Preparing and managing project cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts.
Managing contracts and costs of a construction project, from beginning to completion.
Monitoring project costs, analyzing variances, and implementing cost control measures.
Conducting regular site visits to assess progress and verify quantities.
