Job DescriptionPrepare project budget and material quantity; regularly review and update management on the budgeted cost during implementation of the project to ensure costs remain within budget.
Prepare work done certificates for subcontractors in accordance with work certified by the consultant and ensure certificates tally with work done on site.
Evaluate subcontractor bids and analyze costing before recommending awards to subcontractors.
Prepare submissions of interim progress claims and ensure timely and accurate certification by the client/main contractor through site evaluations.
Attend site visits and meetings as required by management.
Conduct site measurements, take off quantities, and source for quotations.
Liaise with the consultant on final payment valuations and certificates for making good defects.
Liaise with clients and consultants to prepare submissions for loss and expense claims.
Liaise with site personnel to prepare extension of time submissions with suitable clauses.
Ensure timely preparation of progress claims and final accounts.
Responsible for variation orders and calling for quotations.
Assist in tender activities as required.
Oversee subordinates' performance, ensuring they meet their goals and objectives.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Job RequirementsDiploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying/Building Construction.
At least 3 years of working experiencein Pre & Post contract administration, preferably with amain contractor.
Experience inInfrastructure workis preferred.
Required languages: English, Bahasa, and Mandarin.
Basic knowledge of Glodon software.
Independent, resourceful, and able to work under minimal supervision.
Able to work under tight timelines and capable of multitasking.
Familiar with Microsoft Office tools.
