In this role, you will:
Responsible for developing new products formulation by searching, identifying and applying the most appropriate technology to achieve the desired results within the desired time frame to secure the targeted commercial advantages.
Work with the relevant operations team to determine and establish new projects, products, processes, and plans. Monitor the project's progress against agreed targets. Acquire food regulatory information, innovation ingredients & process knowledge to establish systems.
Understand and work with the Regulatory and Quality compliance department regarding compliance with quality system requirements, other regulatory standards, and safety, health, and environmental requirements.
Support assembly or production line setup when necessary.
Provide an intellectual and interactive commitment to the position by keeping up with appropriate literature and research publications.
Establish and maintain all test reports, records, and quality documents. Ability to analyze and interpret research results.
Submission of assessments of ingredients, benefits, costing, and legality.
You might thrive in this role if you have:
Education Background: Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology / Nutrition / Dietetics, Chemistry, or Biotechnology.
Experience: Preferably candidate with more than 5 years experience in the Food Manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of food technology, food microbiology, safe food handling procedures, and food service sanitation practices.
Knowledge in ISO 22000, ISO 9001, and HACCP systems is an advantage.
Knowledge of data analysis and technology, excellent communication, and organizational skills.
