Food Technology & Safety (Science & Technology)
Involve in new product development and product improvement.
Analyse competitor products to understand market trends and consumer preferences.
Liaise with production leaders on new or improved formulation, update the production SOPs and specification. Monitor initial production run of new/improved products and ensure standard SOPs and formulation are met.
Identify cost-effective ingredient substitutions and manufacturing processes. Work closely with production leaders to reduce production costs while maintaining or improving product quality.
Work together with marketing on product packaging design and photo shooting.
Support Sales & Marketing in new product launch and testing. Arrange samples as per sales request.
Work closely with purchasing to source for alternate suppliers and engage with suppliers' technical team on trial for any new or improved raw materials.

The Group commenced in 1977 when founding members converted the partnership business into a private limited company known as Restoran Oversea (Imbi) Sdn Bhd. The success of our first "Restoran Oversea" restaurant encouraged us to open our second restaurant in Ipoh in 1982. To date, we have developed our Chinese restaurant operations into a chain of eight (8) wholly-owned restaurants with five (5) outlets in Klang Valley, two (2) outlets in Ipoh and one (1) outlet in Genting Highlands.
