Responsibilities Designs Keysight products and specifies the components that make up the products. Design and develops products, components, processes, and systems using broad engineering concepts and research techniques. Documents research and design specifications. Solve complex and high impact design and development problems including customer application issues of varying scope and complexity.
Works with system design architect to understand design requirements and define the design architecture for FPGA subsystems and interconnections.
Evaluates and selects suitable FPGA solutions with optimised speed, size and cost to meet the design requirements.Develops FPGA codes, perform simulation, synthesis, and implement the FPGA hardware solution into the electronic systemPerforms characterization and testing of design prototypes, analyze and validate the design to meet product performance specifications. To communicate and collaborate with cross competency design teams, system architect and project manager to evaluate customer requirements, to recommend the effective design approach, to estimate resource requirement and to integrate overall development plan.Constantly on the search and innovation of new methods/technologies/solutions to elevate design competency for test & measurement products. Qualifications Bachelor/Master in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or the equivalent.>5 years related working experience.Experience in design of FPGA/ASIC, digital hardware electronics.Proficient in VHDL/Verilog coding, logic simulation, synthesis and familiar with design tools Xilinx Vivado/ISE or Altera Quartus, Modelsim and Synplify Pro.Experience using equipment like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers for problem analysis, resolution and verification.Equipped with basic knowledge of LAN/GPIB/USB/PCIe standards, ADC/DAC, high-speed digital and high-speed memory interface systems.Skills in DSP algorithm development and DSP implementation using FPGA will be added advantage.Looking for a passionate, teamwork-oriented, eager-to-learn and ability to multi-task person to join our dynamic team.  Keysight is an equal opportunity employer.
