Day-to-day responsibilities
Conceptualize and architect new highly-technological based products.
Work with highly-qualified engineers to conceptualize and create new mechanisms and sub-systems, as well as the detailed design of the mechanical components which include gear and belt transmissions, plastic parts, sheet metal stampings, castings, and rubber.
Innovate to achieve breakthrough in product feature, quality and cost.
Execute design implementation and conduct performance & reliability testing.
Perform static and dynamic analysis of components and assemblies using finite element method.
Devise test methodologies and conduct experiments to verify designs.
Liaising with suppliers and clients.
We want talent fit to the following requirements:
Masters/Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 3 – 5 years design experience.
Able to do structural layout and design with 3D CAD.
Good knowledge of plastics, rubber, casting, extrusion and sheet metal parts.
Well versed in DFM of plastic, sheet metal or die-cast parts.
Must have good attitude, passion in Mechanical design, self-driven to achieve the set goals, resourceful, organized and team work.
Must have good analytical skill and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and able to work in a cross-functional environment.
