At Pure Mylk, we produce a diverse range of plant-based beverages, including oat milk, rice milk, almond milk, coconut milk, plant-based ambient yogurt drink, high-protein drinks, and specialized solutions for children and the elderly.
What is the role about?
To support the setup and operations of the Innovation Centre, which consists of the R&D Lab, Sensory Lab, and Pilot Plant.
To assist in executing key R&D projects to achieve business goals.
Collaborate with the team to develop new products or improve existing recipes by experimenting with ingredients, processing methods, and packaging, while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Contribute to the management of the new product development (NPD) pipeline portfolio.
Plan, organize, and assist in the execution of process production trials.
Work with the Marketing Department and customers to understand expectations on to-be-manufactured products and assist in developing R&D programs for NPD feasibility studies.
To research new raw materials and evaluation.
To assist in preparing ingredient lists and nutrition fact information.
Perform other duties stipulated as per HACCP requirements.
Are you the one?
Over 3-6 years proven track record in R&D/Product Development/Application Specialist of food industry (specialized in manufacturing plant).
Preferable working experience in the dairy industry and SAP exposure would be an added advantage.
Able to quickly build excellent relationships with internal and external partners as well as working with remote teams.
Technical skill(s): Well knowledge in food production and processing, and knowledge of food safety standards/certifications (FSSC, ISO, HACCP, GMP, Halal, etc) is an added advantage.
Understand food science applications, sensory principles, nutrition, and labelling requirements.
