Description
Business Engagement:
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager, Global Process Manager, and Performance Improvement Team to conduct regular end-to-end process reviews, identifying necessary process enhancements to boost performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Team Lead and other internal stakeholders such as Global Headquarters, Local Management, and Line of Businesses.
Operations:
- Prepare journals, reconciliation reports, and accounting analysis reports to ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions, adhering to process handbook/DTP/Closing Cockpit requirements (e.g., timelines, quality checklists).
- Execute closing activities efficiently, adhering to set schedules and documenting any deviations required by business needs for proper agreement and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company procedures to uphold financial data integrity.
- Participate in issue management and root cause analysis within and across processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Record-to-Report (RTR) framework to enhance productivity, strengthen controls, and promote process standardization.
Team Development:
- Continuously develop business and process knowledge, providing recommendations to support ongoing process enhancements.
Profile
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum requirements: Advanced Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or equivalent CPA/MIA certification.
- At least 2 years of practical experience in Accounting/Finance or SSC RTR field.
- Proficiency in financial and accounting tools such as SAP, COUPA, FIORI, and Business Intelligence SAP Analytics, as well as operational systems like MS/Google Office and Concur.
- Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail and precision.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written in English and another language, e.g., Mandarin.
- Capable of collaborating with diverse stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Competency in interpreting and applying professional accounting standards and principles like IFRS.
- Skillful in preparing, analyzing, and interpreting accounting analyses or investigations, including root cause analyses to support business decision-making.
- Exposure to handling migration and improvement projects/initiatives, locally and globally, is advantageous.
- Experience in process modeling and documentation.
- Proficient problem-solving skills and proactive in identifying opportunities to enhance and streamline processes.
