Description
Manage the end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) process, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
Oversee General Ledger (GL) management, ensuring accurate posting, reconciliation, and maintenance of all financial transactions.
Perform detailed bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure accurate cash flow reporting.
Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial records are closed timely and in line with deadlines.
Prepare and review financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, automation, and standardisation of R2R tasks for enhanced efficiency.
Profile
A successful candidate should have:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the Record to Report or Financial Accounting field, preferably in a global retail or multinational environment.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and local statutory requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Experience with General Ledger management and Bank Reconciliation processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Experience with process improvements and automation is a plus.
Job Offer
