Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity?
RBC Shared Services Malaysia is a processing center of operational excellence supporting multiple RBC businesses in countries across various time zones.
Malaysia is one of several operational processing centers within RBC supporting a variety of businesses and Functions including Wealth Management, Capital Markets, I&TS, GRM, and Finance.
The entity utilizes a Global Operating Model to maximise efficiencies across times zones and supports various shifts to ensure ongoing support across time zones.
The objectives for Malaysia are to enhance the scalability of RBC's global operations, improve service quality via our 'centres of excellence' and to implement/leverage standard processes.
As a Recruiter, you will manage the end-to-end recruitment process for all assigned business group, and be responsible for the Talent Attraction Strategy in collaboration with Senior Recruitment and HR Business Partners.
Where external recruitment is required, source, screen, assess talent and make recommendations to managers on candidates, develop a solid understanding of assigned business and build strong relationships with managers, HR partners and other internal groups as appropriate, partner with managers to facilitate employment offer process and provides meaningful feedback to internal and external candidates, ensuring candidate experience is extremely positive, client (Hiring Manager) experience is professional and commercial, and work with Head of HR, Business Leaders, and Senior Recruitment Manager to ensure reporting on Recruitment activities are accurate and timely and to be a key player in further establishing the Recruitment function in Asia.
Working hours: 9:00AM - 6:00PM   What will you do?
Effectively manage the recruitment process for roles assigned, across Line of Businesses/ Business Platforms.
Effectively collaborate with hiring managers to plan & deliver talent acquisition plans, while building a strong reputation/ relationship with hiring managers Build a strong understanding of the recruitment process, various milestones along the way, and be proactive and resourceful to overcome challenges throughout the process.
Ensure required routines are in place to meet business needs.
Create plan and lead the hiring strategy conversation, acting in an advisory role to hiring managers during the intake & overall recruitment process.
Build and maintain a pipeline of candidates for recurring and hard-to-fill roles through appropriate and targeted sourcing including good quality market intelligence to business head regarding the recruitment market.
Ensure high compliant to the end to end  recruitment process from sourcing, interview, offer to on-boarding.
Data Integrity: Regularly update Workday as per specified data integrity process requirements (i.e.
ensure data is included when a hire is made, appropriate movement of candidates through folders, etc.).
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all the recruitment and HR team members as well as candidates and hiring managers.
Deliver  a superior recruitment experience to all candidates and hiring managers.
Strong understanding of RBC's value proposition to appropriately "sell" career opportunities Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning by building business acumen, sharing competitive intelligence, and staying abreast of business/market trends Representing the function of TA effectively throughout RBC and externally ensuring our brand is protected and profiled in interactions.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have University Degree and/or relevant professional training 5 – 7 years of experience  within the recruitment field, either within an in-house HR environment, or in a recruitment agency.
Experience in recruiting for Financial Institution/ Shared Service Willingness to take on new challenges and show initiative to help improve service and processes.
A clear understanding of the recruitment process within a financial institution.
Expertise at interview and assessment of candidates.
Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to understand business and candidates wants and needs, and to match these effectively.
Excellent communication skills - ability to work with individuals across all areas of the bank, and liaise with third parties.
Nice-to-have Collaborate effectively with all hiring managers, both Recruitment Team Members and HR Business Partners.
Clear thinker, and ability to suggest solutions to the model, and flex as the processes take shape in the initial stages.
Flexible approach and appreciation that while controls are required, one size may not fit all.
Strong prioritization skills, ability to manage conflicting demands from all areas of the business whilst ensuring the recruitment process is kept in motion.
Marketing ability – as the mouth piece to potential new staff, must demonstrate a positive and dynamic demeanor.
Well-developed organizational and administrative skills.
Good report writing and data tracking skills.
Good PC skills and knowledge of Excel.
