Job DescriptionThe Refrigeration Engineer will be responsible for managing, implementing, and monitoring the usage of the entire plant refrigeration system to ensure no disruption to production and that the system is operated optimally to minimize power consumption costs, while complying with prevailing standards specified by local, regional, and international regulators.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor, manage, and maintain the overall plant refrigeration system, prioritizing safety of operations and maintenance for all refrigeration systems including Primary Plant (PP), Further Processing (FPD), ASRS, and Carton Freezers.
Ensure prompt repairs and provide solutions as soon as possible to reduce disruption to production downtime.
Ensure that modifications, fabrication, and troubleshooting are carried out for the refrigeration system.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures in the area of repair and maintenance to support increased production and respond to refrigeration issues during unplanned downtime.
Ensure that the Main Utility Building is operated according to federal, state, and local regulations guidelines.
Maintain daily records and closely observe compressor performance for optimum performance and to prevent breakdowns.
Other duties as assigned by management from time to time.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with a minimum CGPA of 3.0.
Minimum 1 year of working experience in the related industry or a similar role.
