The Role:
Collaborate with the Leadership Team to design and document a go-to-market strategy and Global Business Development Plan aimed at driving new business by expanding our equipment installations among both new and existing customers across Asia.
Oversee regional distributors, assessing their performance and making strategic recommendations or adjustments as needed.
Lead the execution of the Business Development Strategy, working closely with the Direct Sales Team and current or potential distributors to secure additional business.
Partner with Marketing, Sales, and the Applications Lab to develop value propositions, promotions, sales collateral, and other marketing materials to support regional business growth.
Utilize Microsoft Dynamics (MSD) CRM for managing the sales pipeline, tracking activities, monitoring progress, and generating forecasts and results.
Record all opportunities in MSD, ensuring all required information is included.
Keep an up-to-date forecast of identified opportunities in MSD.
Attend the weekly Global Sales Forecast Review Meeting.
Coordinate customer visits to the Malaysia Facility to promote the business and conduct application trials.
Collaborate with the Global Marketing and Applications Team to host webinars targeted at the Asian market.
The Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales training or experience.
Availability for regular business travel.
Extensive business-to-business sales experience, preferably in similar industries.
Excellent planning & organizational skills.
