NOTE: This is a regional role. Incumbent may work remotely, but business travels to plants located in a few countries in APAC (i.e. Taiwan, China, India, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia) are required. We are open for Consultant service if candidate/consultation company fits to our needs. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of work experience as Senior Supply Chain Manager, Group Supply Chain Manager or similar role in MNCs related to manufacturing of aquaculture, animal nutrition, agriculture, chemical, food processing, medical devices, pharmaceutical or its equivalent products. Excellent understanding of SCM processes, with proven hands-on skills (from professional to managerial roles) in production planning, logistics, warehouse operations, inventory and budget controls. Knowledge in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), HACCP and/or ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management Systems. IT savvy, good knowledge of relevant software and ERP systems (SAP etc), including database development. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Proficient in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Mandarin language (both written and spoken, efficient communications with stakeholders in Taiwan and China) will be an added advantage. Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint. Strong in communication, coordination and presentation skills. Willing to travel when necessary. Hands-on & lead to establish robust SCM policy, standards, procedures, continuous improvement plans and drive the implementations in all plants located at different countries. Create and implement strategic plans to maintain and continuously improve the SCM efficiency, services quality, cost leverage and other aspects of existing or coming up new processes or procedures to achieve business objectives. Drive to optimize S&OP for both SCM operations and inventory management. Drive investigations, conduct root cause analysis related to daily operations performance, customer complaints, process efficiencies, etc. Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve low production changeover, ideal inventory targets, reduce storage cost, on time delivery, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service. Communicate with stakeholders in the region on new initiatives, procedures, and policies in enhancement of daily operations and supply chain managements. Review budgets and financial statements to ensure that costs are within reasonable limits and to improve cost efficiency.
