Job Purpose As the Regional Sales Manager for Southeast Asia, your primary goal will be to drive sustainable financial growth through increased sales and the establishment of robust relationships with customers and channel partners. As the company's ambassador, you will design and execute a regional sales strategy that aligns with the overall organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities 1. Sales and Business Development- Drive sales of the company's products in the Southeast Asia region.
- Identify, shortlist, communicate with, and assist in selecting new channel partners in the region.
- Support and manage existing channel partners to achieve set goals.
2. Customer Relationship Management- Enhance relationships with existing customers by understanding their business requirements and future strategies.
- Offer tailored solutions to meet customer needs and ensure satisfaction.
3. Growth Strategy Implementation- Develop and execute a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction in your designated geography.
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts by customer, geography, and product to align with the company's objectives.
4. Market Research and Analysis- Conduct market research to gather relevant information about customers, competitors, and market conditions.
- Analyze historical sales data to identify focus areas for achieving business objectives.

5. New Business Development- Establish new accounts through leads provided by the organization.
- Drive new business opportunities to commercial success.
6. Issue Resolution and Reporting- Address customer complaints by investigating problems and suggesting solutions.
- Maintain regular communication with management through detailed reports on activities, sales, and forecasts.
Qualifications 1. 7-10 years of sales/sales management experience in industries such as PVC heat stabilizers, PVC resin, or PVC additives.
2. Extensive knowledge and experience in the global and regional PVC market.
3. Fluent in English; proficiency in additional regional languages is a plus.
4. Degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
5. Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools like Salesforce.
6. Strong communication skills, high work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Reporting Structure - Reports to the Export Sales Head
- Supervised by: Chief Marketing Officer
Job Dimensions 1. Travel: Minimum 10 days per month for sales and marketing activities.
2. Participation in trade fairs, exhibitions, and seminars.
Compulsory Requirements 1. Salary: RM10,000 to RM15,000
2. Education: Degree in Polymer or Chemical Engineering
3. Willingness to work from home for 5.5 days a week
4. Targeted Candidates: Individuals based in ASEAN countries
5. At least 10 years of experience in selling raw materials like chemicals, additives, or compounds to PVC manufacturers
6. Willingness to travel overseas and at least 2 years of export or international sales experience
