Job PurposeRegional Tax Compliance Specialist will support the APAC region focusing mainly on SAM market (Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand) with keeping their entities compliant with local tax law, ensures that tax policies and processes are followed, identifies tax risks (and opportunities) and monitors changes in tax laws.
The Regional Tax Compliance Specialist will work closely with the Regional Finance team and the Group Tax team.
Key Responsibilities Monitors and supports with CIT, indirect tax, WHT, TP and other (local) tax compliance and reporting obligations in the regionSupports with the tax aspects of the implementation of a new ERP systemSupports with quarterly tax provisioning process and annual return-to-provision calculationSupports with estimating the tax payments in the cash flow forecastEnsures that tax policies are followed, and standard tax procedures are implementedIdentifies tax risks (and opportunities), and supports with mitigating these risksManages tax aspects of M&A and internal reorganizationsSupports with tax audits or enquiries from local tax authoritiesMonitors changes in laws and regulations, and ensures that relevant changes are applied properly Key Requirements: Master or Bachelor Degree in Accounting or TaxMinimum of 5 years of experience with at least 3 years of experience in tax advisory or complianceStrong numerical and analytical skillsKnowledge of (tax) accounting principlesKnowledge of financial systemsExcellent English written and verbal communication skillsTakes responsibilityHands-on mentalityWillingness to improve What's in it for you?
