The Regional Treasury Manager - APAC will be instrumental in overseeing and driving Treasury operations across the region.
This role presents an exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, tackling an evident mandate to manage cash positions and foreign exchange exposures effectively.
As a standalone position, it calls for a proactive professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
What will you be doing?The Regional Treasury Manager - APAC will be responsible for partnering with local businesses across the region to manage cash flow forecasts and foreign exchange (FX) exposures.
This includes leading funding and cash repatriation initiatives while navigating Emerging Market currency restrictions to ensure efficient cash centralization.In addition to overseeing FX risk management, the role involves supervising intra-group relationships and supporting the monthly netting process.
The manager will also build and maintain positive relationships with local banks and financial institutions, as well as implement regional cash management structures to optimize cash pooling and investment.Further, the role demands active participation in treasury projects, providing expertise to critical business initiatives.
The manager will ensure compliance with country-specific financial regulations, maintain a robust treasury control environment, and coordinate closely with UK Treasury colleagues to address and resolve key treasury matters.
What will you need to be successful?The ideal candidate should possess strong language skills, with English proficiency required and knowledge of a local language being helpful.
A Bachelor's degree is essential, and relevant professional qualifications are a plus.
Candidates should have a minimum of 5-7 years of treasury experience, demonstrating a solid background in managing complex financial operations.Key personnel attributes include a high level of integrity, strong project management skills, and the ability to work independently with self-direction.
The role requires building strong business relationships, strategic thinking, and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to navigate complex treasury matters across the APAC region. You.
