What we need:
The Regional VP Sales is a senior-level leader responsible for overseeing and guiding the strategic sales direction within a given geographical region and/or segment. This role involves shaping policies, driving innovation, and leading teams to achieve optimal performance to meet organizational sales goals. Responsibilities include strategic planning, decision-making, and guiding the overall direction of the sales teams by implementing business plans, directing sales activities, and managing diverse teams.
What you'll do:
Participate in sales calls with lower-level managers and/or field sales team members to supplement selling efforts.
Develop and manage sales forecasting and targets for all geographies and/or segments by partnering with leadership and sales operations.
Collaborate with sales operations and leadership to optimize geographic assignments to maximize sales opportunities and customer satisfaction.
Conduct market analysis to understand local trends, competition, and customer behavior, using insights to drive sales strategies.
Stay abreast of industry trends and utilize market insights to plan initiatives that enhance sales.
Partner with cross-functional departments to ensure alignment of sales initiatives and geographic needs.
Lead regular sales team meetings to review performance, share updates, and communicate organizational strategies.
Serve as an escalation contact for the geography and/or segment to resolve customer issues.
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and recommend enhancements to streamline selling processes.
Establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
Perform other duties as needed.
What you have:
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
12+ years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
7+ years of management experience.
