We are currently looking for bookkeepers or junior accountant.Your work hours will be for 5 hours each day;4.00am - 9.00am - Kuala Lumpur timeDJM Sdn. Bhd. is a result driven and competitive yet supportive work environment that reflects a strong commitment to both clients and staff members.**THE POSITION**This hands-on role is responsible for the overseeing the company's payroll and financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.**PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**- Daily hands-on management of all accounting entries including credit card charges, reconciliation of patient payments and returns, insurance reports and payments, refunds and GL activity.- general ledger entries,- ensuring that payments are made by insurance companies,- recording client payments and adjustments,- assisting with insurance billing,- claims submission to insurance companies- staff time sheets are entered on a daily basis - requires checking for accuracy- Monthly assessments are submitted on time between 1st - 7th of every month.- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.- Record staff PTO recording- Prepare and submit bi-monthly payroll to accountant- Guiding financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures, with vendors and employees- Providing support to admin staff members in all insurance related matters.- Create reports that help senior leadership understand company financials.**KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES**- MANDATORY - bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.- Proven work experience in accounting.- Understanding of applicable laws and regulations.- Knowledge of payroll and accounts payable.- Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, with strong organization and priority setting skills.- Advanced computer skills, specifically in Excel.- Familiarization with accounting software is a plus.- Must be able to communicate financial information into sound business language so people of all levels can understand.**Job Types**: part-time, contract - with the opportunity to become permanent based on performance, KPI, deliverables, and communication clarity (verbal and written)**Education**:- Bachelor's (required)**Experience**:- Bookkeeping: 3 years (required)**Job Type**: Part-timePay: RM16.00 - RM17.00 per hourExpected hours: 20 - 30 per week**Benefits**:- Opportunities for promotion- Professional developmentSchedule:- Early shiftSupplemental pay types:- Performance bonusApplication Question(s):- How many years of bookkeeping / accounting experience do you have?- Answer ALL of the questions please - 1.
