Remote Support Associate

Job Description:

IJM Corporation Berhad is seeking a Remote Support Associate to join our team in George Town, Penang, MY. This part-time position at the Associate Level requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, adaptable, and possess strong teamwork and research skills.

Responsibilities:
1. Provide remote technical support to customers via phone, email, or chat.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with software, hardware, and network systems.
3. Document and track customer issues and resolutions in a timely manner.
4. Collaborate with team members to escalate complex issues to the appropriate department.
5. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to provide accurate and efficient support.
6. Assist in testing new software releases and updates before deployment to customers.
7. Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. 4+ years of experience in technical support or a similar role.
3. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and remote support tools.
6. Experience with CRM systems is a plus.
7. Availability to work flexible hours as needed.
