Together, we inspire and innovate the markets we serve.Team ProfileThe Power and Renewables Research Team is a highly respected group of analysts producing market-leading research on the entire renewable energy value chain.Role PurposeSupport the development and operation of energy storage supply chain models and associated processes, databases and reports of the growing Energy Storage service.Main responsibilitiesLead new data collection, both qualitative and quantitative, on the energy storage supply chain.Monitor energy storage supply chain trends, technology development, pricing, offerings and company news.Maintain and improve existing datasets and model outputs to ensure they are up to date and representative of current industry trends.Assist in the development of original market research and analysis.Work with other teams across Power & Renewables to maintain the consistency and integrity of data.Collaborate with peers across Wood Mackenzie to support research reports and marketing services.Knowledge, skills and experienceA keen interest in renewable energy and the broad power sectors.Strong analytical capabilities, both qualitative and quantitative.Fluency with reading, writing and communicating in English.Ability to work independently and effectively within a global team.A bachelor's degree in related technology, economics, and business field.Knowledge of Chinese language is advantageous/preferred.Key competenceStrong organisation, planning and time management skills.Proactive and accountable.Commitment to excellence and growth.Equal OpportunitiesWe are an equal opportunities employer.
