Research Assistant Technician (Contract)

**Job Location: Senai, Johor, Malaysia****Responsibilities**:**Project Support**- Weigh and batch ingredients for bench-top and pilot plant runs- Prepare bench-top formulations of new product innovations- Support pilot plan trials and prototype production including set-up and clean-up- Coordinate procurement, receipt, and storage of ingredients- Coordinate shelf-life testing studies- Input lot tracking information- Perform basic analytical tests**Equipment Operation**- Learn and operate a variety of standard testing and process equipment.- Ensure timely calibration of lab instruments**Lab Maintenance**- Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as necessary.- Ensure that needed lab equipment is available and functional.- Maintain clean and orderly lab area.- Procure basic ingredients as needed**Requirements**:- Diploma/Degree in Food Science- 1-2 working experience in food manufacturing industryThe Hershey Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
