Research & Development Assistant Manager / Manager

**Responsibilities**:- 1. Responsible for managing of the R&D team assigned to the innovation projects, and building product development vision, ideas and technologies.- 2. Oversee the entire product development life cycle to rollout new technologies and services;- 3. Manage R&D Team to engage closely with product owners and stakeholders to deliver innovative products and technology services in a timely manner, and on budget;- 4. Lead technical risk assessment/brainstorming and design simulation of product development vision, design ideas and technologies with relevant team members;- 5. Proactive engagement with potential stakeholders, government and product owners as to improve our product and waste technology services offering in line with the Company's goals;- 6. Handling product research and analysis, including market intelligence and product performance comparison; and- 7. To lead, monitor and manage R&D Section on new product development and improve the quality of existing products.- 8. To review and plan for any new innovative and creative product development.- 9. To review and plan the R&D project schedule based on the requisition of R&D product development record.- 10. To be accountable with the progress of R&D project with appropriate communication on project status to respective project initiators- 11. Require fully involvement in processing line to understand the product and process thoroughly- 12. To monitor, guide and oversee the subordinate on their R&D project and to ensure that they are able to meet the given timeline.- 13. To guide and monitor R&D lab scale testing, pilot test, and first production run until the commercialization of the new or improved product. Ensure R&D records, product information and relevant analysis are well documented- 14. To ensure that product formulation is distributed to production correctly and it is well in placed at production and costing department.- 15. To liaise with raw material supplier for new or substitute raw material to cater the need of new product development, product improvement and cost reduction. Ensure new/ substitute raw material are Halal Certified or obtain the Halal Declaration Letter from suppliers.- 16. To check the regulation compliance of any food additives used in specific product with the regulation of export countries.- 17. To provide product labelling information Customer Service Department for artwork design. To check and review product labelling information on the new artwork design. Ensure that it is complying with both Malaysia and export country of food law and regulation.- 18. To maintain R&D lab, equipment and ingredient in safe and hygienic storage- 19. To undertake any other ad hoc duties/task/projects assigned by the Immediate Superior, General Manager and above when required.**Benefits**:- EPF- SOCSO- Annual Leave
