Job DescriptionAnswer calls with clear speech and a pleasant voice.
Handle all incoming and outgoing room reservation requests as per hotel standards and procedures.
Attract guests and enhance their loyalty by providing distinctive service through communication and sales skills to improve the hotel's image and increase revenue.
Recognize VIP guests and apply the concerned policies.
Maintain good commercial relationships with all bookers: guests, companies, and agencies.
Promote the Accor loyalty programs and hotel promotions.
Manage guest complaints professionally by resolving them to guest satisfaction and recording them.
Call the manager for advice in serious cases or if approval is required.
Use telephone etiquette as per Sofitel standards.
Have perfect knowledge of room types and rate structure.
Ensure the accuracy of all booking information entered in the PMS.
Have perfect knowledge of the hotel products.
Fulfill administrative tasks and filing.
Properly use and maintain the reservation communication system (telephone, fax, e-mail).
Be aware of and follow emergency and security procedures.
Respect key handling procedures.
Respect schedules, terms, and deadlines as agreed with management.
Attend daily line-up briefings with the reservations team.
Be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within job capability as assigned, including redeployment to alternative departments/areas if required to meet business demands and guest service needs.
Attend training and meetings as required.
