Job Description:As a Reservoir Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our offshore deep water reservoir assets. Your extensive industry knowledge and expertise will contribute to the successful planning, analysis, and implementation of enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and improved oil recovery (IOR) strategies. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting reservoir simulation studies to evaluate reservoir performance and develop production enhancement strategies.
Performing advanced reservoir modelling and characterization, integrating geological, petrophysical, and production data to identify reservoir potential.
Analysing well performance and proposing reservoir management strategies to maximize recovery.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including geologists, geophysicists, and production engineers, to optimize reservoir performance.
Utilizing advanced software and tools to simulate, monitor, and predict reservoir behaviour.
Assessing unconventional reservoirs and identifying innovative approaches for reservoir development.
Contributing to reservoir surveillance and monitoring programs to ensure optimal production and recovery rates.
Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and colleagues.
Requirements:To be considered for this role, you should meet the following criteria:
Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Reservoir Engineer in the oil and gas industry.
Strong background in offshore deep-water reservoirs.
Proficient in reservoir simulation software and industry-standard reservoir engineering tools.
Experience in enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and improved oil recovery (IOR) techniques is highly desirable.
Familiarity with unconventional reservoirs and associated challenges is a plus.
Bachelor's or master's degree in petroleum engineering or a related discipline.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Adaptability to a dynamic work environment and a willingness to embrace new technologies and industry advancements.
