Resident Architect

We are seeking aResident Architectto oversee a prestigious mixed development project valued over RM300M in Bintulu, Sarawak.
This project spans residential and commercial components.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily on-site architectural works to ensure compliance with design specifications, standards, and regulations.
Lead and manage a team of architectural and engineering Clerks of Work, ensuring they fulfill their respective duties efficiently.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure that instructions and decisions are communicated promptly, enabling the contractor to progress without delays.
Conduct site inspections, monitor construction activities, and ensure strict quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify and address any deviations from approved plans and specifications, liaising with the Design Architect and recommending corrective actions as needed.
Provide regular progress reports to the project management team and clients.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture(recognized by LAM or equivalent).
Registered Architectwith a valid license from Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM).
Minimum8 years of experiencein architectural supervision, with at least3 yearsin mixed development projects of similar scale (RM100 million and above).
Proven experience working inEast Malaysiais an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
