Resident Engineer / Inspector Of Work (Electrical)

Overview of Job
To plan, direct, manage, control and coordinate the construction works in order to achieve timely completion of the project within specified quality, specification and cost.
The key area of works is at the site and construction management.
Key Results
1.
To ensure timely completion of projects.
2.
To ensure project is constructed in accordance with specification and with excellent quality that satisfies customer's expectations (Zero Defects).
3.
To assist in finalization of final account with proper records and filing system.
Job Description
1.
Examine the contract documents, authorities and municipal councils' requirements and contractor work program.
2.
Check and monitor the work progress, the actual allocation of resources at site and the overall construction work to ensure the contractor has fulfilled their obligation in the Contract.
3.
Report and make recommendations to (Architect/ Engineer) on conflict or dispute concerning instruction, problem arising at site, discrepancy on drawing or specification, any additional drawing or instruction required, any additional or omission works, the outcome of authority inspections and the defective materials and works.
4.
Attend and report at all site meetings.
Chair meetings in the absence of (Architect/Engineer).
5.
Confirm oral instruction to contractor in writing and update (Architect/Engineer) for issuance of instruction.
6.
Liaise with other disciplines i.e.
consultants, authorities and RA/RE of other services.#J-18808-Ljbffr
