The company is currently expanding with the construction of a new building, further enhancing our capacity to serve guests with top-notch amenities and services. To ensure smooth and efficient operations, they are seeking a Residential Manager to oversee the hotel's management inIskandar Puteri, Johor , ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
Position Overview:
Fully responsible for overall management to ensure quality standards throughout all the hotels, providing an excellent experience for the guests and maximizing guest satisfaction. Oversee all aspects from day-to-day operational running to strategic development of all the outlets, providing leadership and support to all section heads to implement and enforce the hotel standards in all areas supervised.
Key Responsibilities:Work alongside all Section Heads to ensure each individual department delivers a consistently high standard of guest service.
Achieve business objectives, monitoring occupancy rates and room rates to maximize the profitability of all outlets.
Maintain effective cost controls in all areas, assist in the preparation of annual budgeting and monthly forecasting along with section heads.
Implement strategic initiatives and direct the hotel's main operations including quality, standards, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
Monitor the coordination between all departments for smooth and efficient operations.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to all direct reports as and when required, either formally or informally; be available on call 24/7 to resolve any urgent problems or emergencies.
Carry out inspections of all departments with Section Heads for presentation, cleanliness, ambience, service readiness, staff grooming, and hospitality culture.
Conduct regular meetings with Section Heads and the Hotel Manager to discuss routine operational matters, departmental performance, sales targets, and reviewing guest feedback.
Key Performance Indicators: Employee Turnover and Labour Cost, Gross Operating Profit, Cost per Occupied Room, Guest Satisfaction Score.
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management; Graduates with a Bachelor Degree from other related fields are welcome.
Experience: Minimum three years of work experience as Deputy Manager, Assistant Operations Manager, or Hotel Manager in a property is required. Property Management Software and Revenue Management experience are desired.
Language Skills: Excellent knowledge of the English language is mandatory, with the ability to speak, read, and write clearly. Must be able to listen to, read, and/or write instructions, memos, short correspondence, and messages. Bilingual language skills preferred.
Salary Range:
