We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to join our team and lead our engineering department to new heights of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Facility Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of all resort infrastructure, including plumbing, electrical systems, sewage systems, and other critical components.Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, sewage systems, carpentry, mechanical equipment (including buggy repairing), and AV equipment to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment.Must have in-depth knowledge of air conditioning systems and troubleshooting techniques.Proficient in PMP (Preventive Maintenance Program) troubleshooting and implementation for all maintenance areas, ensuring efficient operation and adherence to safety standardsSafety and Compliance: Ensure that all engineering activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect both guests and staff.Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for engineering staff.Budget Management: Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies without compromising quality and safetyEnergy Efficiency and Sustainability: Implement strategies to improve energy efficiency and promote sustainable practices within the resort.Evaluate and recommend the adoption of new technologies and systems to reduce environmental impact.Qualifications: Proven leadership experience in engineering or facilities management, preferably in hospitality.Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems.Familiarity with regulations and industry best practices.Effective leadership and interpersonal skills.Ability to troubleshoot and solve engineering problems.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficient in air conditioning, charging, carpentry, and electrical workHands-on experience and thrive in practical, action-oriented personProficiency in English & Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of additional languages (Chinese, French, German) is a plus Equal Opportunity: Our resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
