About us NPC Resources Berhad owns a 4-star hotel in the heart of Kota Kinabalu city. In the hotel, there is a restaurant undergoing a renovation, catering to daily breakfast buffets, a la carte menu for lunch and dinner specialising in Malaysian cuisine. We aim to rebrand the restaurant and bring its service to a better level, so that guests can feel comfortable while dining at our restaurant.
Qualifications & experience Proven experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or in a similar role for minimum 2 years.Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team.Experience working closely with kitchen and sales teams to optimize service and sales.A passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Respectful to colleagues Tasks & responsibilities Guest Satisfaction: Preventing any inconvenience or complaints from guests by proactively addressing issues and ensuring a seamless dining experience.Team Leadership: Training and uplifting the team to enhance their knowledge in different dining styles (buffet, a la carte menu etc), motivation, and sense of belonging. Ensuring that all staff members adhere to our cleanliness and service standards.Operational Excellence: Maintaining the working area to the highest cleanliness standards and overseeing the daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.Collaboration with Kitchen: Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure the smooth flow of food service and the consistent quality of food served.Innovation and Sales: Partnering with the Sales department to develop and implement innovative food and beverage ideas and promotions to maximize sales and enhance the dining experience.
