Position Summary:
As a Retail Associate at Velvet Vanity, you will be the face of our brand, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
You will assist customers, manage store operations, and contribute to the overall success of our retail store.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Customer Service
Greet and assist customers warmly as they enter the store.
Provide product information and recommendations based on customer needs and preferences.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing personalized service.
Sales and Merchandising
Actively engage with customers to drive sales and meet sales targets.
Assist with visual merchandising, ensuring that products are displayed attractively and in accordance with store guidelines.
Replenish stock on the sales floor and ensure products are organized and well-presented.
Promote and upsell products, including special promotions and loyalty programs.
Store Operations
Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including tidying up shelves, displays, and fitting rooms.
Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently, including processing transactions and handling cash.
Monitor inventory levels and report stock shortages or issues to management.
Assist in receiving, unpacking, and storing merchandise deliveries.
Work collaboratively with other retail associates and store management to achieve store goals and ensure a cohesive team environment.
Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay informed about new products, policies, and procedures.
Compliance and Safety
Follow all store policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Ensure that store security measures are observed to prevent theft and loss.
Adhere to company dress code and grooming standards.
Administrative Tasks
Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and store reconciliation.
Complete daily sales reports and other administrative tasks as required.
