About the role:The Store Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and profitability of the Laderach Chocolate brand in the store.
This role requires driving retail excellence in line with Brand and Valiram standards.
Key Responsibilities Areas:
1) Sales and Operations
Lead the retail store team to drive monthly sales targets.
Execute accurate, timely sales planning and forecasting to the store team.
Conduct store briefings with the store team to communicate sales directions laid out by business expectations.
Provide directions in operational aspects of the store with adherence and compliance to retail operations standards.
Drive associate behavior and productivity.
Build and maintain clienteling in the business to achieve sales growth.
Provide insights into localized pricing strategy and competitor insights and implement appropriate changes to maximize sales and increase local market presence.
2) Brand Management:
Maintain and enhance the brand's image and identity.
Ensure all store standards reflect the brand's luxury positioning and adhere to brand guidelines.
Work with Visual Merchandising to ensure that the store environment is enticing, effective, and in line with Brand Guidelines.
Strategize and implement brand communication needs in keeping with the integrity of the brand and regional appeal.
3) Inventory Management
Evaluate stock requirements and ensure timely replenishment.
Ensure maximum stock turns and control aged inventory.
Guarantee Inventory Integrity.
4) Budget Management:
Achieve business plan profit.
Plan and maximize the sales and profit contribution of the Brand.
Develop annual business plans to reflect brand positioning and negotiate key aspects of the planned delivery with the brand principal.
Monitor and report on budget performance, adjusting as needed.
5) Team Leadership
Manage rosters of all staff/all stores and be responsible for Store team performance.
Conduct timely staff appraisals and quarterly performance reviews.
Improve staff morale leading to a positive and dynamic working attitude.
Ensure staff conduct themselves in a proper and professional manner in compliance with theCode of Business Conduct.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, or a related field.
A Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in brand management within the luxury retail industry.
Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
Strong business acumen and retail metrics.
Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
In-depth knowledge of luxury fashion and current market trends.
Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
Analytical, meticulous, and good with numbers.
Excellent communication, results-oriented, and self-motivated.
Proficient in MS Office.
Willingness to travel as needed for industry events and brand activities.
Desired Skills:
Passion for luxury goods and an understanding of luxury consumer behavior.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of customer service skills and problem-solving.
Experience with fashion international markets.
