Position Summary
The individual will be part of the Risk Management Team, who functions as a separate independent business unit that processes all independence and client acceptance/continuance requests within the organisation. This position helps to ensure that the organisation is in compliance with Singapore laws and regulations, that the organisation's policies and procedures are being followed. 1 - 2 years of experience in conducting client due diligence and names screening are preferred. He or she must have an interest in risk management work and possess good interpersonal skills.
Key Accountabilities / Major Area of Responsibility
Processes Client Acceptance / Continuance in accordance with the organisation's policies and procedures
Responds to all queries from business units/member firms relating to client acceptance
Collaborates with other departments (e.g. Legal, Independence Team etc) to direct risk management issues to appropriate existing channels for resolution
Coordinates risk management activities of the business units to ensure timely reporting of information
Qualifications / Experience
Good proficiency of written English and Chinese
Possess at least a Diploma or equivalent
Good interpersonal skills – able to communicate/interact with people of different levels from different business units#J-18808-Ljbffr
