A staple in the commercial drone industry, Poladrone is rapidly expanding beyond the skies and later rebranded into what we are today – Aonic, demonstrating our commitment to our clients to provide them with a holistic ecosystem beyond our core drone capabilities Responsibilities Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of software for robotic systems using the Robot Operating System (ROS). Participate in the development and optimization of algorithms for perception, motion planning, and control. Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with robotic hardware components. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to hardware and software integration. Contribute to the testing and validation of robotic systems, ensuring reliability and performance. Participate in simulation and real-world testing of software and hardware components. Assist in creating and maintaining documentation for software architecture, algorithms, and system configurations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, embedded engineers, and product managers. Attend team meetings and contribute insights and ideas for continuous improvement. Requirements Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field. Familiarity with ROS and basic experience with ROS-based development. Programming skills in languages such as C/C++ and Python. Basic knowledge of robotic hardware and sensors, including Intel RealSense, LiDAR sensors, Jetson Nano, and SLAM algorithms. Passion for robotics and a strong desire to learn and grow in the field. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work well in a team environment.
