About Our Client My client is a prominent manufacturer within the rubber industry. They are setting up new plants and currently seeking for the right talent to be part of their team.
Job Description Create and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a safe work environment. Perform risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards and take corrective actions. Conduct incident investigations to determine root causes and develop preventive strategies. Offer guidance and support to management and employees on safety-related issues. Ensure adherence to all applicable local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards. Design and deliver safety training programs for employees at all organizational levels. Maintain safety records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements. Work with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of safety excellence and continuous improvement. Keep updated on emerging safety trends, regulations, and best practices, and recommend necessary adjustments to safety programs. Act as the main point of contact for regulatory agencies and external stakeholders on safety-related matters. The Successful Applicant A bachelor's degree in environmental, science, engineering, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in a managerial position. Certified SHO, NEBOSH, Certified Industrial Hygienist, or similar. Excellent communication skills. Ability to analyse complex situations and make effective decision.
